       Diploma in Creative Animation

Introduction
The Diploma in Creative Animation (DCA) programme aims to produce graduates with competitive knowledge, principles and skills in the terms of theoretical and practical foundation in creative content industry. The programme is offered for fulltime mode and the students shall completed 92 credits to obtain their diploma. As for this programme the student will assessed based on formative and summative assessment which cover quizzes, assignments, projects, presentation and written test. The graduated shall enter the job market immediately after they graduated or pursue their studies locally or abroad.

A student has to acquire 92 credit hours to complete this programme.

Upon the completion of the programme, graduate are expected to:-
Acquire knowledge in the field of multimedia, including animation, management, marketing, accounting, economics and knowledge management and apply these skills to different business environments.
Obtain the qualitative, skills and knowledge needed to make sound business decisions.
Integrate knowledge acquire in the programme to analyse a business to identify its strengths. and weakness and determine what changes can be made for improvement.
Built communication, team, leadership and interpersonal skills and aware of the social and ethical responsibilities expected of a business graduate.
Develop skills for lifelong learning and career development.
Develop entrepreneurial skill.
Develop a broad business and real world perspectives.
I) SPM / O Level / Equivalent (Pass with Three (3) credits inclusive of pass in Arts Education*);
OR
II) Pass any Certificate program from IIC or other higher education learning institution.
*For students who do not have any qualification in Arts, need to pass:-
- a brief interview; OR
- basic drawing test; OR

- portfolio review

Graduated students are able to pursue to any local and private institution of higher learning throughout Malaysia and abroad.
DCA graduates may enter into creative multimedia job cluster for example 2D animator, 3D Artist and Animator, 3D Modeller, Mocap Artist, Ringging Artist and Visual Effects Artist.

English Preparatory Classes
The English Preparatory Classes (EPC) is the ice-breaking class to prepare students for the upcoming official semester. It is also a platform for students to have an early exposure of English language and it equips students with basic knowledge of four skills which are reading, writing, listening and speaking. During the session, the students will experience a professional and formal learning environment and develop their self-esteem through the activities conducted by the respective educators and the college as a whole. Exhibitions and presentations are the platforms for students to enhance their academic skills, particularly for their public interaction, as those are the keys to success in various skills. These activities enrich students' confidence level to use English in their communication in the future undertaking.

Supported by a team of qualified and experienced educators in IIC, the EPC classes are committed in producing graduates who are well-equipped not only with language disclosure, but also with relevant soft skills and life-long learning competencies to excel in today's competitive environment. Durations of the studies vary according to the intakes ranging from 2 weeks to 9 (nine) weeks. The fee is RM15 per week and the total contact hours per week is 12 (twelve) per week. Classes will be conducted from Monday to Thursday with 3 (three) contact hours per day.
