       Diploma in Computer Science

Introduction
The Diploma in Computer Science (DCS) programme aims to produce graduates with competitive knowledge, principles and skills in the terms of theoretical and practical foundation in ICT. The programme is offered for fulltime mode and the students shall completed 92 credits to obtain their diploma. As for this programme the student will assessed based on formative and summative assessment which cover quizzes, assignments, projects, presentation and written test. The graduated shall enter the job market immediately after they graduated or pursue their studies locally or abroad.

A student has to acquire 92 credit hours to complete this programme.
I) SPM / O Level / Equivalent (Pass with Three (3) credits inclusive of Mathematics or Additional Mathematics);

II) Pass any Certificate program from IIC or other higher education learning institution.

In ICT industry the job can be clustered into 4 main categories which are Creative Multimedia, System Design & Development, Information Technology and Shared Services & Outsourcing:-

i) Creative Multimedia - 2D Animator, 3D Animator, 3D Artis, 3D Modeller, 3D Visualliser , Audio Engineer, Audio Visual Engineer, Audio Visual Manager, Creative DesingerEditor, GUI Desinger.

ii) System Design & Development - Programmer, .Net Developer, Tesr Development Engineer, Web Administrator, BIOS Engineer, Design Engineer, Software Engineer, Mother Board Desinger.

iii) Information Technology - .Net Developer, Application Developer, Programmer, Computer Operator, Computer Technician, Customer Support Engineer, IT assistant, IT Busniess Analyst, Network System Engineer.

iv) Shared Services & Outsourcing - Business Analyst, Service Desk Executive, Customer Servoce Executive, Financial Analyst, Fraud Detector, Operation Risk Analayst, Tecnical Help Desk.

English Preparatory Classes
The English Preparatory Classes (EPC) is the ice-breaking class to prepare students for the upcoming official semester. It is also a platform for students to have an early exposure of English language and it equips students with basic knowledge of four skills which are reading, writing, listening and speaking. During the session, the students will experience a professional and formal learning environment and develop their self-esteem through the activities conducted by the respective educators and the college as a whole. Exhibitions and presentations are the platforms for students to enhance their academic skills, particularly for their public interaction, as those are the keys to success in various skills. These activities enrich students' confidence level to use English in their communication in the future undertaking.

Supported by a team of qualified and experienced educators in IIC, the EPC classes are committed in producing graduates who are well-equipped not only with language disclosure, but also with relevant soft skills and life-long learning competencies to excel in today's competitive environment. Durations of the studies vary according to the intakes ranging from 2 weeks to 9 (nine) weeks. The fee is RM15 per week and the total contact hours per week is 12 (twelve) per week. Classes will be conducted from Monday to Thursday with 3 (three) contact hours per day.
