APPLICATION

   INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT

Valid passport book (18 months validity). If the passport book’s validity is less than one year, you must get it renewed.

 

 

  STUDENT VISA 

International students from other institutions who are already in Malaysia must have a valid visa (minimum three months validity). 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

Valid academic qualification equivalent to O-Level or A-Level and above. 

MAIN REASON IS TO STUDY

Main reason to come to Malaysia is to study and not searching to works.

 

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

*International students need to pay a processing fee together with the submission of application documents.

 *The fee is for a one year student visa (two years for Indonesian  students, a one year insurance coverage, international ID card, insurance card, EMGS processing fee, college’s processing fee, airport clearance and airport pickup, and post-arrival medical check-up.

VISA INFORMATION

The student visa is renewed annually. Students from Indonesia will get a two years student visa. The International Student Office will facilitate the renewal process. International students need to pay RM1000 for the renewal of the student pass.

In order to ensure that the pass will be renewed smoothly, international students must have a good class attendance (80% and above), and good semester results (CGPA 2.0 and above).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Personal Bond

International students need to pay personal bond as the Immigration Department of Malaysia requires all education institutions in Malaysia to sign a personal bond on behalf of the candidate, binding the institution for a specified sum. This personal bond money will be returned to you upon completion of study or withdrawal of your study in the institution, on condition that there is no violation of any provision of the Immigration laws of Malaysia. How much you need to pay for the personal bond? It’s depends on countries and the range is from RM200 to RM2000. International students pay the personal bond when they register with the college.

No-Objection Certificate (NOC)

No-Objection Certificate (NOC) is only required if the student is from Sudan. The Sudanese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur will issue the letter upon request by the institution.

Letter Of Eligibility

Letter Of Eligibility (LOE) is only required if the student is from Iran. We will apply an LOE for the student at the Iranian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. Once the LOE application is approved, the embassy will provide the LOE details to EMGS directly. Institute representatives are not required to collect the LOE from the Iranian Embassy.

What type of Visa student must have?

As stipulated by the immigration law of Malaysia, all international students must have a student visa (student pass) in order to study in any colleges or universities in Malaysia. The International Students Office (ISO) will facilitate the application of this student visa. International students cannot enrol in any institute of higher learning in Malaysia without the student visa. 

 

Only holder of Resident Pass may study in institute of higher learning without student visa. However, they need to show a letter of approval from the Immigration Department of Malaysia in Putrajaya.

 

If you already have a student visa from any other institution, you need to shorten the pass before you can apply a new pass with our college. 

 

Holders of working permit, expatriate pass, long term visit pass, marriage pass, dependent pass, MM2H passes, need to shorten the pass before submitting new application to our college.  Some passes requires you to go back to home country and apply to enrol to the college from there.

What document to submit?

New application from home country must submit the following documents to us:

  1. Application form.
  2. Health declaration form.
  3. Passport-sized photo (white background) x 4
  4. Copy of passport book (all pages, 2 pages per A4 paper, single side)
  5. Copy of academic certificate and transcript
  6. Translated copies of the above if the language of the certificates is other than English or Malay. The translated script must be certified by relevant authorities.
  7. Attestation form (Nigerian student only).
  8. Copy of yellow card (African students only)
  9. Scratch card (students who took WAEC, NECO or NABTEB exam)
  10. Non Obligation Certificate (NOC) for Sudanese students
  11. Letter of Eligibility (LOE) for Iranian students
  12. School leaving certificate (for students from secondary schools in Malaysia)

 

New application from student who already completed their study in other higher institution in Malaysia needs to submit:

  1. No 1 to 5 of the above
  2. Release Letter from previous institution
  3. Exam result and attendance reports from previous institution
Who can apply?

There are four category of international student who join us in the College:

1. International students from schools in Malaysia who are already complete their O-Level or A-Level equivalent exam (such as SPM, GCE, IGCSE, A-Level, STPM, Baccalaurete, etc).

2. International students from any public or private higher institutions in Malaysia who already completed their certificate or diploma level studies.

3. International students from any public or private higher institutions in Malaysia who discontinue their study or withdraw from their institution and want to tranfer to our college.

4. International student from country outside Malaysia.
