The Diploma in Creative Animation (DCA) programme aims to produce graduate with the competitive knowledge, principles and skills in terms of theoretical and practical foundation for a career in multimedia and animation and progression to further study by providing students with high-quality teaching and learning experiences that are relevant to multimedia and animation careers.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

LOCAL STUDENT:

i. Possesses SPM with at least credit in THREE (3) subjects;

OR  

ii. Possesses SKM Level 3 / Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) (Note: The HEPs are to conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the programme);

OR 

iii. A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in relevant field with at least CGPA of 2.00;

OR  

iv. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject;

OR  

v. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least Grade Maqbul;

OR  

vi. Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

AND  

vii. Pass an interview (online / virtual / conventional) OR submission of student’s portfolio, to be determined by the HEP as required. 

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT:

i. Achieve a minimum score of High Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent to CEFR Mid B1.*** 

 

* A student has to acquire 92 credit hours to complete this programme.
